Mullica Township is offering a $250.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the individual(s) vandalizing the recreation complex. In this latest incident, parts of the gazebo roof were torn off and the entire entry gate to the skatepark was stolen. The cost to replace the gate this time is $1,000.

Unfortunately, this has been an on going problem, and the cost to continually repair the damage is becoming increasingly more expensive. Although no one wants to see the park closed, if the vandalism does not stop the skateboard park will be dismantled.

If you have any information about these incidents, or witness anyone destroying public property at the recreation complex call the police tip line at (609) 561-7600 extension 44, or contact Detective Sergeant John Thompson at (609) 561-7600 extension 27.
