The Township Committee has extended the deadline for third-quarter taxes. According to Clerk Kim Johnson, the township was late receiving its rates from the state but plans to send out the third-quarter tax bills within the next couple of weeks. The bills normally would have been due by Aug. 1. Residents will have 25 days to pay their bills after they are sent out.
