    Why the dis of nuclear pnltas? We should continue to burn 100s of millions of tons of soft coal or middle east oil each year? This ridiculous irrational fear has brought us where we are today, energy-wise. Which is an awful place. Fusion energy just over the horizon, but we have to get there. Solar and wind are too unreliable (solar panels really don’t work too well in the dark, and storing the energy required is ridiculously expensive- good supplemental energy for, but themselves will never be the primary power system
