The local VFW has given their Veteran’s Memorial monument to Mullica Township for display at town hall. Peterson’s Monuments in Egg Harbor City has very graciously agreed to move the monument from the old VFW Hall to the Municipal Building. Township Committee is designing a small Veteran’s Park to be located in the front of the municipal building. Plans include installing pavers, two or three benches, and landscaping. Donations are currently being accepted to fund this project, estimated to cost $7,500. A dedication service is planned when the project is completed.
