The Elwood Fire Company responded to the report of a brush fire on Rt 30 near Warton Park Blvd at 4:31pm on Mon Feb 23rd. Engine 16-3 responded and found a 20′ X 20′ brush fire while Rescue 16-4 responded to the MVA about a 1/4 east of the fire. The MVA involved two cars which took down a pole and power lines. All units were clear at 4:56pm.
