From NBC40.net — The Charles L. Spragg Elementary School formally commenced construction of a long awaited addition and renovation project Tuesday.

The result of the $8.8 million referendum passed last month, the project will see the expansion of the school’s library and the addition of several early education classrooms.

The renovations are tentatively scheduled to be completed by the beginning of the next school year.
