From The Press of Atlantic City — Police have arrested an Atlantic County man in connection with a domestic-violence incident Saturday night on New York Avenue. Eric R. Kirchner, 44, of Egg Harbor City, was operating a pickup truck during an argument and ran over the victim as she held on to the exterior of the vehicle, police said. The woman was not seriously injured.

Kirchner was charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence, failure to submit breath samples and aggravated assault. He also had an outstanding warrant issued by the Keansburg Municipal Court. Kirchner was unable to post the $2,500 bail and was sent to the Cape May County Jail.
