From The Press of Atlantic City — A 31-year-old man died shortly after being arrested at his parents’ home Saturday night, prompting an investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, spokeswoman Madelaine Vitale said.

A 911 call describing an apparent domestic incident summoned city police to a home on the 400 block of Havana Avenue at 10:55 p.m, Vitale said. Charles Arroyo was handcuffed and arrested, then treated by emergency medical personnel and taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Galloway Township, where he was pronounced dead at 11:34 p.m. An autopsy was performed Sunday. A determination of the cause of death will be made after toxicology reports are complete, Vitale said.
