You might want to add Batsto Village to your Fave Five.

Visitors to the historic Pinelands village, which is in the Wharton State Forest, can now take a guided tour via their cell phone. You can call a number on your cell phone and listen to a guided tour at one of 18 stops highlighting the historic sites and buildings. The village includes Batsto Mansion (photo above), a blacksmith’s shop, a gristmill and a sawmill.

Each pre-recorded message is approximately 2-3 minutes, and follows a walking tour brochure. Taking the cell phone tour is free, but it will tap into your cell phone minutes. Dial (609) 503-9377 and then enter the site number that you wish to hear.
