Mullica Township — In July, two farms totaling 182 acres sold their development rights to Atlantic County’s government for more than $850,000.
Robert and Pearl Hagaman’s 63-acre hay farm in Mullica Township brought in $157,195. County Line Blueberry forfeited development on its Hammonton property, a 119-acre blueberry farm, for $696,702.
The county now has nearly 4,300 acres of protected farmland, according to the administration.
