EGG HARBOR CITY – Police here are looking for information about a body discovered lying on Third Terrace between Route 30 and Atlantic Avenue.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel said police responded to a 6:13 a.m. report of a body in the road. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of an unidentified white man believed to be in his 20′s to 30’s lying face down in the roadway. 

AtlantiCare paramedics arrived and pronounced the man dead on the scene.
Atlantic County Medical Examiner Dr. Hydow Park performed the autopsy Wednesday afternoon. The cause of death is pending further studies and an investigation.

Egg Harbor City Detective Sgt. Ricky Cantz and Patrolman Michael Luko are investigating with the assistance of Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Investigator Kevin Hincks under the Supervision of Sgt. Keith Fane.
